Compact Cutlery

Brief

• This project focuses on how to make a compact cutlery set.
• A few initial ideas considered size and shape but the rectangular design was found to be the strongest and the most professional.
• The set includes 2 forks, 2 knives, 2 spoons and 2 sets of chopsticks in an easily-accessible container suitable for eating all types of food.
• The product is fitted together like a puzzle in order to save space and the implements are interestingly-shaped tools, which makes it attractive and intriguing.
• An indent or groove within the insert to the case, allows the cutlery to be picked up with minimal difficulty.
• This product would be suitable for many different environments, including: restaurants, schools dining rooms, BBQs, transport facilities (e.g. aeroplanes), camping and fast food chains. The design is very versatile because it is laser-cut which allows for a change in size, width and style of the cutlery.
• Similar to the Bamboo Cutlery, this compact cutlery set is coated with olive oil to stop the pieces from splintering and to prevent the smell of food being absorbed into the cutlery.
